We're launching a never-ending campaign to do something good (be the salt) in our families, neighborhoods and beyond and WE NEED YOU to make it happen. People are struggling with various issues and we want to be the salt. The struggles are at times too much to handle. But our giving can help to alleviate a need.
Bras can be expensive for some women. In fact some women are wearing bras that they have had for years. Those bras in many cases are the wrong size, are not washed as often as they should be, are completely tattered with holes, rips and snags, and some women have to wear 2 bras at a time due sizing and the bra being worn out. But for women who are also experiencing housing displacement due to domestic violence, she may be wearing the only bra she had after fleeing her perpetrator. For this reason we are collecting NEW + GENTLY USED bras (all sizes) in several locations (MD, DC, MA, and CT).
Socks are so vital in winter months and throughout the year. Men that are homeless may only have 1 or 2 pairs of socks. Let's do something good by donating NEW socks (all sizes). Currently we are collecting in MD and SC.
